We are big fans of hummingbirds at our house. In fact, we have two rufous hummingbirds that have taken ownership of our front garden. My 7-year-old loves My Tiny Life by Ruby R. Hummingbird. While the text is fairly simple, she’s loved comparing the birds’ actions to that of our own hummers. The illustrations are bright, bold and do a great job of capturing action.
